Michael Novakhov: Investigate the "Investigators"!
Has the FBI been transformed into Trump's personal secret police, in fact, an "American Gestapo"?! I have a very strong suspicion that the pro-Trump faction within the FBI (which appears to be significant in numbers and influence) is in fact, run by the Russian moles, and it is marked by the KGB style. I think that the urgent, independent, comprehensive, and in-depth investigation is absolutely needed! The US Congress and the Security - Intelligence - Military people, please pay attention to this issue!

“It was the result of a cabal of right-wing agents of the FBI in the New York office attached to Rudy Giuliani, who was a member of Trump’s campaign,” said Blumenthal, who emailed frequently with Clinton while she was secretary of state.
“I think it’s not unfair to call it a coup,” added Blumenthal, who served in the Bill Clinton White House aide and was said to be an informal adviser to Hillary Clinton.
“A coup, even?” the interviewer asked.

“Yeah, a coup d’etat,” said Blumenthal.

Sidney Blumenthal Says FBI Coup Took Down Hillary Clinton

"We want no Gestapo or secret police. The FBI is tending in that direction. They are dabbling in sex-life scandals and plain blackmail." - President Harry S. Truman

"Just the minute the FBI begins making recommendations on what should be done with its information, it becomes a Gestapo." - J. Edgar Hoover

"So it looks more and more as if we had an election swung, in effect, by a faction of our own security sector in alliance with Putin," Krugman wrote in a subsequent tweet

"The head of the National Security Agency, Adm. Michael Rogers, said on Wednesday there shouldn't be "any doubt in anybody's mind" that there was "a conscious effort by a nation-state" to affect the outcome of the election."

Ivanka Trump at Trump Tower in Manhattan on Thursday. Ms. Trump serves as vice president of development and acquisitions for the Trump Organization.

News reporters were not allowed to attend the session, Mr. Trump’s first with a foreign head of state, and no summary was provided about what was discussed. A separate photograph was distributed — press photographers were not allowed to cover the event — showing that Jared Kushner, Ms. Trump’s husband, was present for at least part of the gathering.
Ms. Trump’s presence also disturbed some current and former State Department officials, including Moira Whelan, who left the department in July after serving as a deputy assistant secretary of state for public affairs.

Anyone present for such a conversation between two heads of state should, at a minimum, have security clearance, Ms. Whelan said, and should also be an expert in Japanese affairs.

A deputy U.S. marshal was shot and killed in southeastern Georgia Friday morning while trying to arrest a man with a history of targeting police, investigators announced, adding that law enforcement shot and killed the suspect.
Deputy Commander Patrick Carothers, 53, was part of a team seeking to arrest Dontrell Montese Carter, who was wanted on charges including attempted murder of police officers and domestic violence stemming from a September incident in South Carolina, the U.S. Marshals Service reported.
The team spotted Carter in a trailer in Long County -- but as Carothers was entering, Carter shot him twice, investigators said. The shooting unfolded at the Spring Creek Mobile Home Park, Fox 28 reported.
“The fugitive who killed Deputy Commander Carothers was extremely dangerous, wanted for trying to kill law enforcement officers and deliberately evading authorities. Pat is a hero and our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and five children,” U.S. Marshals Service Deputy Director David Harlow reacted.
The team returned fire, hitting Carter multiple times. He died at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah. Paramedics rushed Carothers to Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, where he died.
Carothers was a 26-year veteran of the U.S. Marshals Service. He had served as the deputy commander of the fugitive task force for more than a year.
The Macon-based deputy marshal was wearing a protective vest, Monroe County Sheriff John Cary Bittick told The Macon Telegraph. “Those vests are not going to stop a rifle round,” he added.
Long County is located about 55 miles southwest of Savannah.
Fox News' Matt Dean, David Lewkowict and The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Paul Krugman tweetstorm on FBI in virtual 'alliance with Putin' - Business Insider

KRUGMAN: It's looking more and more like the election was swung by the FBI in virtual 'alliance with Putin'

krugmanPaul Krugman. Reuters
Paul Krugman, the Nobel-winning economist and New York Times columnist, suggested Thursday that an "alliance" between a faction of the FBI and Russian President Vladimir Putin swung last week's election in favor of Donald Trump.
Krugman said that given the small margin in swing states that decided the election, the FBI's reactivation of its investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server was just enough to change the minds of some voters.
FBI Director James Comey announced the discovery of new emails "pertinent" to the case on October 28 — 11 days before the election — before clearing her again a week later.
"As evidence accumulates that Trump benefited from a lot of late deciders breaking his way, the case that it was Comey gets stronger," Krugman wrote in a tweet.
The US intelligence community publicly accused the Russian government of being behind the hacks of emails of members of Democratic Party organizations and Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, whose electronic communications were released in droves by WikiLeaks during the final weeks of the campaign.
The head of the National Security Agency, Adm. Michael Rogers, said on Wednesday there shouldn't be "any doubt in anybody's mind" that there was "a conscious effort by a nation-state" to affect the outcome of the election.
"So it looks more and more as if we had an election swung, in effect, by a faction of our own security sector in alliance with Putin," Krugman wrote in a subsequent tweet.
The economist has frequently taken to Twitter in the days after the election to bemoan the outcome and to draw concern over early policies of Trump.
