Trump adviser: Melania nude picture...

________________________

"The “Russia threat” is emerging as one of the principal foreign policy themes of this election.
A slight majority of the experts (53 percent) agreed with the conclusion that Russia presents “a medium-level threat” to the United States, where Moscow has the ability to create obstacles and difficulties for the United States—but where “its mischief is limited.” 29 percent argued in favor of seeing Russia as a “significant” threat that may require “extensive new defense outlays and deployments.” Only 6 percent were prepared to characterize Russia as a “gravely serious threat” that represents the “most serious” challenge to U.S. security."

"Foreign policy experts of all stripes “are left slack-jawed” by Trump’s pronouncements, said Derek Chollet, a senior adviser at the German Marshall Fund and former Pentagon official in the Obama administration.
He looks at the world solely through the prism of business transactions, talking about allies as if they’re Atlantic City contractors that he can bilk,” said Chollet...
Trump’s comment about Crimea and Russian sanctions, says Kramer, sent “terrible signals and will be interpreted not only as a betrayal by the United States of our allies but as rewarding aggressive behavior by Russia.”

"For decades, Russian intelligence agencies have used what they call “active measures” to destabilize their rivals. Now they seem to be turning those tools on the U.S. political system, though in the process they appear to have violated Rule No. 1 of the spy business: Don’t get caught...
What worries U.S. officials most is that given Russia’s demonstrated willingness to use covert action against its adversaries, it might secretly intervene just before the November election...
And what about Trump? Some have argued that he was the intended beneficiary of Moscow’s DNC hack. But it seems more likely that Trump is what Russian intelligence officers sometimes describe as a “useful idiot” — a person who unintentionally fosters Moscow’s campaign of instability.

"...John O. Brennan, the director of the Central Intelligence Agency, made clear that while spying on each other’s political institutions is fair game, making data public — in true or altered form — to influence an election is a new level of malicious activity, far different from ordinary spy vs. spy maneuvers.

“When it is determined who is responsible for this,” Mr. Brennan said, choosing his words carefully to avoid any direct implication of Russia, there “will be discussions at the highest levels of government about what the right course of action will be. Obviously interference in the U.S. election process is a very, very serious matter.”...
The cost of doing nothing could be high. As the United States and other nations move to more electronic voting systems, the opportunities for mischief rise. Imagine, for example, a vote as close as the 2000 presidential election between George W. Bush and Al Gore, but with accusations about impossible-to-trace foreign manipulation of the ballots or the vote count, leaving Americans wondering about the validity of the outcome."

M.N.: I think that the previous episodes of large scale cyber-intrusions, especially the OPM hack, convincingly demonstrated that they are almost always a combination of human factors: traditional espionage, stealing of passwords, etc., and technical cyber factors. Therefore the old, conventional, common sense counterespionage measures should play their role in prevention; these are the simple, available, accessible, practical, and probably effective and the most cost-effective parts of cyber defense strategies. And there is nothing wrong with the good old paper files and letters for the most important business.

Melania Trump’s Nude Picture Released – Is This How Potential First Lady Will Be?

If Donald Trump will become the next President of United States, then his third wife and former model Melania Trump is going to be the next First Lady. Like her husband, Melania’s career has come a long way, and very few people know that there was a time when she posed just in her heels for a photo shoot.
According to the New York Post, before marrying Donald Trump, Melania posed nude in a photo spread for a French men’s magazine. During the photo shoot, she was just 25 years old and according to Ale de Basseville, she did the steamy photo session in Manhattan in 1995.
In the released pictures, the potential First Lady is seen wearing nothing but high heels and smirking for the camera. de Basseville stated to The Post that when doing the naked photoshoot, not once did she flinch and was very comfortable in shedding all her clothes.
“Melania was super-great and a fantastic personality and she was very kind with me, I think it is important to show the beauty and the freedom of the woman, and I am very proud of these pictures because they celebrate Melania’s beauty,” he further added.
A fashion-industry insider who was present during the shoot also stated that the shoot was more appalling than he had expected.
“I was quite surprised when I saw the pictures because it was. . . a racier shoot than I expected.”
Melania was born on April 26, 1970, and began her modeling career at age 16, and she posed for Slovenian fashion photographer Stane Jerko at age 17. After moving to New York City in 1996, she met Donald Trump at a Fashion Week party two years later, while he was still married to Marla Maples. Their relationship gained media attention when the Slovenian joined Donald Trump while he campaigned for the Reform Party 2000 presidential nomination.
After becoming engaged in 2004, Donald Trump and Melania Knauss were married on January 22, 2005 in Palm Beach, Florida. This is not the first time her nude pictures have made a round over the internet. In 2000, GQ Magazine released a bundle of her pictures posing in front of Donald Trump’s customized Boeing 727. In the released pictures, she was seen wearing only handcuffs, wielding diamonds, and holding a chrome pistol.
In other news, after becoming the household name for being accused of stealing a speech from Michelle Obama and broadcasting lies about her education, she has apparently taken down her personal website. MelaniaTrump.com was her personal platform until earlier this week, but now if someone wishes to check her website, they are redirected to Trump.com.
On her website, it was mentioned that she had a degree in architecture from the University of Slovenia. Following is a quote taken down from her now-deleted website.
“Born on April 26, 1970, in Slovenia, Melania Knauss began her modeling career at the age of sixteen. At the age of eighteen, she signed with a modeling agency in Milan. After obtaining a degree in design and architecture at University in Slovenia, Melania was jetting between photo shoots in Paris and Milan, finally settling in New York in 1996.”
According to an unauthorized source, the former model never graduated from college at all.
The current Republican presidential nominee’s campaign has yet to comment on the speculation swirling around the disappearance of her website. However, the 46-year-old Melania has taken to social media to justify the cause of removing her website from the internet.
Donald Trump’s campaign has not yet released any statement for Melania Trump’s nude pictures. Interestingly, in all the pictures, she is looking stunning and amazingly confident. And only the coming November will tell whether she is going to become the First Lady or not.

Nude Photos of Melania Trump Are A Distraction & Here's Why

A set of lightly censored nude photos of Melania Trump were published online by The New York Poston Saturday. The pictures are from Trump's former modeling career, taken in 1996, and were originally published in a now defunct French men's magazine. The Post ran the story with the arguably sexist headline "The Ogle Office," which is bad enough — but to make matters worse, Donald Trump provided a statement where he made clear the photos were taken before he met his wife. No member of the Trump family is a stranger to scandals, however, the timing of this particular story is more than a little suspicious. If nothing else, the nude photos of Melania Trump are simply a distraction in the worst way possible.
The New York Post formally endorsed Donald Trump for President of The United States back in April. It's odd that they would publish a story that seems to shed a negative light on their candidate of choice's wife. The story went live on a Saturday night, as well, instead of prime news hours. Emily Nussbaum of The New Yorker was quick to suggest why this might be. "Immediate thought," Nussbaum wrote in a tweet on Saturday evening. "The Melania pics are a sexist nothingburger story meant to distract us from real stuff like what Trump said re the Khans."
Khizr and Ghazala Khan are the parents of a Muslim American war hero, Army Capt. Humayun S.M. Khan, who was killed in action in Iraq. The proud parents took the stage at the Democratic National Convention and gave an impassioned speech that denounced Donald Trump. Khizr told Trump that he has "sacrificed nothing and no one."
Alex Wong/Getty Images News/Getty Images
Trump, of course, had something to say about the Khan's indictment of him. In an interview with George Stephanopoulos, Trump implied that Ghazala was not allowed to speak because of her Muslim religion, stating:
He was very emotional and probably looked like a nice guy to me. His wife, if you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say. You tell me, but plenty of people have written that. She was extremely quiet, and it looked like she had nothing to say. A lot of people have said that.
Trump has seemingly used the disruption of a negative news cycle as a strategic way to distract attention from his public faux pas. The RNC allegedly threatened to run negative stories about Ted Cruz if he did not endorse Trump at the convention. It's possible that the re-release of Melania's old modeling photos is a tactic to distract the world from her husband's bigotry against the Khan's. If we're all talking about Melania, the Republican nominee's comments have the chance to slip through the cracks.
Alex Wong/Getty Images News/Getty Images
Melania's pictures from 1996 aren't newsworthy. They are part of the past. The possibility of a Trump presidency is very real and very present. We need to stop looking at pictures of his wife and start looking at what he's saying. He's speaking as a nominee now, but could be addressing us as the President of The United States in the very near and very real future.

After Trump insults mother of slain soldier, NY Post distracts with nudes of Melania

On Saturday night, many a male gaze tilted towards the website of the New York Post after they published an exclusive titled “Melania Trump like you’ve never seen her before.” The story includes a series of lightly censored nude photos from 1996 of model Melania Knauss, now Melania Trump, aka the third and current wife of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. The photo spread was originally published in the now-defunct French men’s magazine Max, which shuttered in 2006. Melania Trump was modeling under the name “Melania K” at the time.
The Post spoke with the photographer, Alé de Basseville, who was complimentary of his subject. “Melania was super-great and a fantastic personality and she was very kind with me,” he said. The tabloid also received the following statement from Donald Trump:
Melania was one of the most successful models and she did many photo shoots, including for covers and major magazines. This was a picture taken for a European magazine prior to my knowing Melania. In Europe, pictures like this are very fashionable and common.
Donald’s emphasis on the photos being taken “prior to my knowing Melania” seems a tad backhandedly slut-shamey. Meanwhile, it appears that at some point in recent history, de Basseville removed the Melania K. photos from the portfolio on his website, likely either as part of whatever deal he made with the Post or to play nice with the Trumps. However, if that was de Basseville’s intention, he didn’t fully succeed. A video on his DailyMotion channel includes the uncensored versions of the shots from the Post article and a few others where Melania lies in bed with another model named Emma Eriksson:
In addition, if you search for “Alé de Basseville” along with “Melania K.” on Google Images, while the portfolio pages containing the photos of her are gone, some of the photos are still uploaded to the photographer’s Blogger account, like this one, which appears to have been crudely censored in Microsoft Paint (and will probably be deleted by the time a lot of you read this).
Having said all that: Why would the Post, which endorsed Trump back in April, dump such a sensationalist story on a Saturday night, not to mention one which presumably involved a paid licensing deal for exclusive photos? Emily Nussbaum of The New Yorker has an idea:
Ah yes, that whole “Donald Trump insulting the mother of a dead American soldier” thing. This wouldn’t be the first time Trump disrupted a news cycle going negative on him. Just last week, Ted Cruz’s non-endorsement of the GOP nominee created a firestorm of new headlines in the wake of Melania’s RNC plagiarism scandal.
The Post’s nude photo spread also made the cover of its Sunday print edition with the headline, “THE OGLE OFFICE.”
