Mike Nova comments: However, this (which I agree with wholeheartedly), does not exclude the chance that he (or anyone in his position) might be right too, sometimes. And in this case (and not being a neuroscientist), I think, he is right: the intensities and differences in blood flows cannot be translated easily into intensity and quality of human emotions and thoughts, although some pictures help somewhat. Mind is not brain, especially if we do not know enough about what either of them really are.
