Apple Earnings Forecast: Will The Stock Fall Further?
SHARED BY 1 PERSON
It seems as if every quarterly financial release is the most important ever for Apple (AAPL) but this quarter is certainly unique. Apple's stock has declined 22% in the past three months and has dropped nearly fifty percent since its peak of $705. Apple is one of the worst performing stocks in 2013 and optimism for the company has seemingly vanished. Apple's highly anticipated second quarter fiscal 2013 earnings will be released Tuesday and I have lost count of how many times people have asked me what to do with the stock before earnings. Is it time to capitulate and sell before the stock declines further? Is it time to start buying shares now that we are trading at such historical lows? Read on to find out.
To predict Apple's financial performance I focus on the last twelve months of reported performance, new products, reported trends, and

Euro drops below $1.30 after PMI data disappoints
SHARED BY 1 PERSON
MADRID (MarketWatch) -- The euro fell below the key $1.30 level against the dollar on Tuesday, a level it hasn't seen since early April, after private-sector activity across the 17-nation euro zone continued to shrink at a similar pace from the prior month. In addition, Germany also slipped into contraction, according to the preliminary Markit composite purchasing managers' index. The euro last traded at $1.2979, a drop of 0.6%. The dollar index , which charts the greenback against a basket of six currencies, rose 0.4% to 82.985. The euro had been trading around $1.3039 in Asian trading hours. Read also, Europe is slipping into a full-fledged depression.

5 Real-Time Google Analytic Widgets You Should Use

Here is a quick guide on how to create them and why publishers should care.

Samsung Leveraging Galaxy S4 Camera Features from Point & Shoot Line
SHARED BY 1 PERSON
Smartphone cameras are one of the most competitive areas of technology.  This is because many consumers will choose their phone based on the quality of the camera, particularly as consumers use their phone as their primary camera.  For years, Apple’s iPhone held the top camera spot but over the past few years, was surpassed by the Nokia Lumia 920 and based on early reviews, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One.   Part of Samsung’s smartphone camera strategy is to pull features from its $199-$599 which became evident today based on an announcement by DigitalOptics Corp. (DOC). DOC announced today they were licensing Samsung their Face Detection and Face Tracking Software for Samsung’s Galaxy S4 phone line.  This is the same software Samsung uses in their high-end point and shoot cameras like the Samsung Galaxy Camera.  Also subtly disclosed was that the Galaxy S4 uses Fujitsu’s ISP (Image Signal Processor), which has integrated hardware block of DOC technology called the AHIP, or advanced hardware image processing engine.  This demonstrates for me examples of payoffs from a few key trends.
